Policies:

  • All students are required to obtain and bring to class a personal copy of all appropriate textbooks and materials necessary for each course by the student’s second official class meeting.

  • In the event that the school bookstore is “out-of-stock,” teachers may, with department head approval, photocopy one chapter at a time in order to conduct that evening’s coursework.

  • Teachers will be informed when out-of-stock materials have arrived, at which time students are expected to obtain all appropriate texts and supplies.

  • Students who utilize classroom instruction time to obtain texts and supplies that are in stock will result in such time being charged against their attendance.

  • Teachers are to encourage students to obtain texts and supplies during non-classroom time.

  • A student arriving to class without a text that is available in our bookstore should not be allowed to remain in class. Students should be immediately referred to the guidance office to speak with a counselor.

  • Repeated failure to comply with the textbook and materials policy is sufficient grounds for withdrawal.
